On the first sunny weekend in spring, some friends and I started out on a coastal walk a 40 minute train ride south of Sydney. We were walking from Otford to Bendeena which is approximately 26 kilometres end to end through the National Park. It was an incredible adventure, close to home but we still felt like we were miles away discovering new lands. It was only two days but we walked to through so many different landscapes, up and down hills and along cliff faces, camped out under the stars by the beach, it felt like we had been gone for days. Emerging from the bush 2 days later and thoroughly exhausted with very, very sore feet, it was one of the best weekends I have had in a long time.
