Perth

I’ve travelled a bit, and I have a few repeat visits to some destinations, but worst of all I have seen practically nothing of Australia except the east coast. how can I call myself a traveller when I’ve seen hardly any of my own country.  Somewhere I never thought I’d visit in Australia is Perth. Lets face it, its a long way from Sydney, a 5 hour flight across the middle of the county, and sometimes (and unfortunately) its just easier and cheaper to go somewhere else overseas.

It turned out to be a great week away. The summer is hot and dry, the beaches are great (mind the sharks no swimming at dawn or dusk), watched the sun set over Cottesloe Beach, we took the ferry over to Rottnest Island and zoomed around on some bikes, ate lots of great food and chilled out at the Little Creatures Brewery and having family over there now is an even better excuse to visit.
