Copenhagen
I spent a week or so this last European summer riding around on a rent-a-bike in the wonderful city of Copenhagen. As a result, not so many photos because I am – A: a bit uncoordinated on a bike unless I am just riding it and B: can not control the bike and my DSLR without falling off! Yes they are the same thing but for once I actually feel like I got to see a city without my view being obscured by a view finder and camera attached to my face.
So, you will see below some highlights from when I did decide to stop; these include the Danish Royal Palace, the Little Mermaid and the scores of people flocking like seagulls to get a picture with her, the Tivoli the 2nd oldest amusement park in the world, Copenhagen Street Food; all delicious and all inside, Nyhavn the 17th-century waterfront full of tourists and lots of little pockets that are just have the general Copenhagen chill kind of vibe.
We also visited Christiania but if you have been there you will know that there is a strict no photos policy, so in respect to them (it is a community and people live there after all) sorry, no photos.
